Prez's classroom. As the students file in, they see that Prez has reorganized the desks into groups of four, and has assigned seating to everyone. Oh, fuck, group work. Bane of the nerdily overachieving student's existence.

Someplace. Prop Joe and Marlo have a side-by-side truck meeting, during which Prop Joe tells Marlo that Herc could be a problem, given that he's learned Herc's in Major Crimes. He runs down some of the unit's greatest hits (not having any way of knowing, of course, how shitty it is now). He asks whether Marlo's still using burners. Marlo says that he ditches them every two weeks, but Prop Joe says that's not good enough. He hands over a manila envelope with an affidavit (or whatever), expositing that Stringer was changing his cell phone daily and the cops still got his phone off a cell phone tower. "City police did that?" says Marlo, perhaps a little impressed. He asks how Prop Joe got the papers, and Prop Joe says they're available to the public at the county clerk's office once a prosecution is over. He adds that Marlo needs to lose his cell phones; Prop Joe himself hasn't so much as touched a burner in a year. He looks to his driver to start the truck, and takes off. Marlo gives Partlow a look, and he pitches his phone out the truck window as they take off, too. It's like all my nightmares about careless Glark and his precious iPhone are playing out right in front of me.
