"Business. Always Business."

Back at the cop shop, Kima's handing McNulty what they have on Cheese, recapping what we already know about him. Interestingly, the paper has his last name as, at least in part, "LAGSTAFF" (the rest is hidden under the mug shot paper-clipped to the sheet), and not "Wagstaff," as I've always seen him identified. Just more fuel for the assertion that Cheese and Randy Wagstaff, from Season 4, are not related in any way. Santangelo rolls up and asks what happened; Kima reports, "He did good for us." "So I'm out the stat," Santangelo surmises crabbily. McNulty distractedly says, "I owe you one, Sanny." Poor Santangelo looks like he knows he won't be collecting on that favour any time. The cops go back into the interview room, where Bubbs and Johnny smugly crow as Santangelo uncuffs them. Once he's free, Johnny asks to use the bathroom. Oh my God, Sanny: say no! Think of the hideous junkie fluids and substances he could be planning to leave there! Wisely, Santangelo turns him down, consigning him to expel it all in the nearest alley instead. Before they leave, Kima asks Bubbs, "How's product in the Towers?" "It was shit -- now it's right," says Bubbs concisely, obviously in a hurry to go get him some more.

Detail office. Everyone else has cleared out, leaving Lester to stare at The Greek on the board. Fitz rolls in, announcing that he "found this guy" (Briefcase/Rados, I take it): "Federal court computer down in D.C. But not in a bad way." Lester inspects the printout as Fitz explains, "He's a K Street lawyer down there." "So the suit was only a suit," Lester concludes. Fitz says yes, but it sounds like he still has some good news "from overseas," as he hands over more paper: "A can on the Adriatica, which docks the day after tomorrow at Patapsco? Fake manifest out of Le Havre." Lester appreciatively notes, "You people got reach." Fitz tells Lester that the information he's holding represents "about three hundred thousand dollars in man-hours." Gosh, then I hope the can doesn't turn out to be full of plastic curtain rods or Bobbie dolls. He nods over to Nick, who's morosely waiting at a table in the corner, to ask what they're doing with him, and Lester says that Fitz will need to call the U.S. Attorney to set up witness protection: "We're rounding up his girl and kid." Fitz nods. Lester adds that they need to keep Nick's participation quiet, having already lost their first co-operator, "PROBABLY THANKS TO YOU," he does not add, only because he doesn't know that yet. Lester goes to the phone...
