In the Pit, Wee-Bey is giving D'Angelo an official reprimand for his part (or non-part, as it happened) in the Omar incident; Bodie sits beside them, watching the whole thing and enjoying D'Angelo's discomfort. Wee-Bey's saying that it's not just up to Stinkum to "be muscle." D'Angelo's in charge of the Pit, and his people are supposed to be "steady" for Stinkum, but that's hard to do when the boss is out getting subs: "You got $20,000, Dee, coming into your shop, and you ain't even around to see that shit right." D'Angelo's like, "I thought--" "No, thinking was what you wasn't doing, and now we look like bitches," says Wee-Bey. Bodie looks delighted. Wee-Bey says that they need to "come back on" the thieves, and D'Angelo doesn't even know anything about who they are. "One of 'em was named Omar," offers Bodie. Wee-Bey repeats the name, though it doesn't seem to mean anything to him. Bodie says that they had a white van, which D'Angelo confirms. Wee-Bey's just asked what kind of van it was when..."5-0!" Cop cars, marked and unmarked, zoom in from all directions, and a couple of cops in yellow windbreakers run up to a door with a battering-ram thing in their hands. Bodie, watching the action without much concern, says, "Wrong door." "Yeah?" says Wee-Bey." Bodie says they switched it the day before. Cops come from everywhere and start detaining everybody; D'Angelo et al are apprehended by Carver, Sydnor, and...Mahone? Maybe he thinks he'll be able to overpower suspects with his oppressive Dewar's breath. Over by a car, Polk smokes. Hee. Kima's got a guy up on the hood of her car. Lester's got a few guys on their knees, and turns up the bills of their baseball caps to see their faces. Mahone gets too close to Bodie, who takes a swing at him; Mahone falls, and another cop hurries over to help him. From far off, Kima sees it go down. Carver starts totally whaling on Bodie as Kima races over, baton in hand; you think she's going to break it up, but...no, she starts kicking him and hitting him over and over with the baton, cussing him out, even yelling at other cops to hold his arms down. Daaaaaaamn.
In the detail office, Prez does a word search. McNulty shuffles papers.
In the pit, a bunch of suspects get herded into a van.
In the supposed stash house, Santangelo tells Herc that the place is clean. Lester, however, is not so sure, quietly walking around taking notes -- including taking down phone numbers written on the kitchen wall.
Outside, Carver is proudly telling Kima that a reporter wants them to let her take her camera in wherever they entered: "She says whatever we got, she'll put on film." "Whatever we got?" spits Kima. "Drugs, weapons," shrugs Carver. "We ain't got shit!" snaps Kima. Cut to Daniels, trying to give McNulty a tumour with his mind.
