Next, Doggett goes to pay CSH a little visit, Skinner and Moronica in tow. CSH is all sitting around, smoking and thinking that he needs to gives his buddy CGBCHGCCHBCG Spender a ring. You know, just to chit chat about being nefarious and stuff. "You work for the Cartel," Doggett intones, tossing the pewter skull charm onto the tiny little non-nefarious-looking bar table in front of CSH. "You make their enemies disappear." CSH puffs on his stogie before announcing that he "speak[s] English," but he doesn't understand Doggett. Doggett pushes back his hair to show CSH the scars on his temples. "I have no idea how you do it," he says, " but everything I am, everything I have, my identity, you took that from me," he spits. CSH plays dumb, wondering how Doggett plans to prove any of this, anyway. Doggett explains that he came into Mexico looking for Hollis Rice, a Texas banker, and that he suspects CSH wiped out Rice's memory. And tried to do the same to Doggett. "You failed, you son of a bitch," he yells. Behind him, Skinner and Moronica stand around and wonder if it would be rude to step out to get some tacos from the dude outside, because they smell fantastic and neither one of them has eaten. "I remember everything!" Doggett yells. This catches Skinner's attention, and he steps forward, telling Doggett to leave CSH to him and Moronica. CSH stares at Doggett. "Why would you want to remember?" he drawls. "You can't tell me you are happier now, because you recall your life? I saw it all. So much pain. Why would you want to struggle so long and hard to get that pain back?" he asks. Doggett stares at him. "Because it's mine," he replies, and walks out. Skinner watches him go and makes a pained face, wondering if Doggett remembers their love. Moronica has returned to her usual blank expression.

One final flashback! Doggett follows NotYetDeadLuke into their front yard and watches as NotYetDeadLuke gleefully rides his bike around the street. "Look, Daddy!" NotYetDeadLuke shouts. Doggett watches as his son takes a wide turn. "I can do it!" NotYetDeadLuke sings. Doggett looks at him, and smiles sadly.

Back to Doggett's current shitty existence, where he's leaning against a pole and looking like crap. "John," Moronica begins, coming toward him. "I'm so sorry. About Luke. About you having to relive that." Doggett looks at the dirt, then up at her. "I'll take the bad, as long as I can remember the good," he says, and stares off into the distance. Crying mariachis play us to the credits.
