Later, at the garage. Domingo finally comes home to find Nestor lying dead on the ground and Doggett waiting to interrogate him. "Did you send [Nestor] to kill me?" he barks. Domingo swears he didn't. "Tell me who I am!" Doggett yells. "I don't know who you are," Domingo says. "Tell me!" Doggett repeats. Domingo repeats that he doesn't know. "You son of a bitch!" Doggett spits. Staring. Sweating. Swearing. Finally, Domingo tells Doggett that he's "one of the disappeared ones." Doggett's all, huh? "Disappeared by who?" he asks. Domingo makes a face: "The Cartel." Seems the Cartel disappears people who are more trouble to them dead than alive. "They took away my memory?" Doggett asks. "How do I get it back?" Domingo rolls his eyes. "You don't," he says. "That's the point." Doggett heaves a giant breath.

Flashback of Dead Children. NotYetDeadLuke wants Doggett to get out of bed and see something. We know! We know that part! This time, Doggett makes it all the way out of bed before he comes to on the garage's dirt floor and finds Domingo kicking him in the gut.

Moronica! In Mexico! The land of her childhood! Have I told you guys my Moronica theory? See, according to Skinner (and the show's official site), Moronica was raised in Mexico by adoptive parents. She doesn't know who her birth parents are. Following me here? Yeah, I bet you dollars to donuts she's Samantha. Just a theory. And don't email me that Samantha's dead, because we all know that "Closure" was a big old lie. Starlight, my ass. Where was I? Ah, yes: Moronica bribes a policeman to tell her anything he knows about Doggett, who she claims "ran out on [her] and [their] children." The cop pockets the cash and tells her that they did recently find a very badly beaten American who fits Doggett's description. He'll take her to him.

The morgue! The body under the sheet has a hairline just like Doggett's, but, of course, it's not him. This man does have the same scars on his temples, however. Moronica takes note of the marks (after making a series of relieved faces when she sees that Doggett isn't dead), and asks the cop where the marks could have come from. He plays dumb. She looks thoughtful. You guys? I have a confession. I don't hate Moronica in this episode. Do you think I'm losing my edge?

Day 13. CSH. Domingo. Español. Domingo sputters that Nestor is dead. And that he knows Nestor tried to kill Doggett with CSH's permission. CSH is all, where is the American now? And Domingo is all, I left him lying in pain on the ground for you! CSH sips some coffee and wonders if Domingo happened to talk to Doggett, in between all the beating. Domingo is all, "Yeaaaaaah." In Spanish. So, like, "Siiiiiiii." CSH purses his lips. "What did you tell him?" he asks. "Nothing," Domingo insists. "I find that hard to believe," CSH says. "I believe I'll have to see with my own eyes." And then his eye start to glow and he shoves his fingers into Domingo's head.
