Outside, two black military helicopters swoop onto the scene, to the tune of "Holy Crap, It's a Military Helicopter! Run, Mulder! Run!" Ah, Mark Snow, I'm going to miss you. Down on the sand, Noel Roaoaoaoaoooooooaar is angrily approaching Doggett and Moronica. He sneers when they draw their weapons. "Run, [Moronica], get out of here," Doggett says. "No," Moronica tells him firmly. Noel Rooooooaoaoaooor is backing them against the mountain; soon enough, they'll have nowhere to run, anyway. "[Noel Roaaaaaaooaoaoooooooar]," Doggett says, "that's far enough." Noel Roaoaoaoaooaaar cocks an arrogant brow. "Shoot me, Agent Doggett, if you think it'll make a difference this time," he calmly suggests, still stalking toward them. So Doggett shoots. A bloody hole appears in Noel Rooaoaooaoaoooooaor's chest, but has no effect on his progress. Moronica and Doggett are backed up against the mountain walls. They're trapped. Noel Rooooooooooaaooaoaor takes another step toward them, then stops short. He blinks and turns a bit green, like he might faint. Doggett and Moronica exchange confused glances. Noel Rooooooooooaaoooaoaor's hands begin to shake. He looks down at them, dismayed. His entire body is trembling. His skin begins to turn the color of pewter and bubble and crack. Doggett pulls Moronica to safety moments before Noel Roaooooooooaoaooor flies into the air and right into the rock, just like Michaud did in that episode where Scully and Mulder were emailing each other and I was barfing over the "Dearest Dana" debacle. Moronica and Doggett stare at each other and then at the mountain wall. Mulder and Scully trip out of the pueblo. "Agent Doggett?" Mulder asks. "Mulder, get out of there!" Doggett yells. "They know where you are!"
