As the helicopter takes off, it passes right by this big old alien vessel! Oh, so close, and yet...you know.

In the alien spaceship, Mulder screams Scully's name. He's still naked, but at least nothing is probing him. Yet.

Scully comes racing through the doors of the hospital, looking for Skinner and Gibson. The Henchmen tells her that everything is under control, which, of course, means that nothing is under control, and that people are probably already dead. Scully totally doesn't buy their line of "nobody's gotten past us," and, judging from the look on his face, neither does Doggett. Scully's hair looks fab, by the way. They must have had a stylist on the copter.

Doggett and Scully storm down the hall to the room where Skinner and Doggett allegedly are. Naturally, the room is empty.

So Scully goes running all over the hospital, looking for Gibson and Skinner. The Henchmen and Doggett are perplexed by the disappearance, but realize that Skinner and Gibson, or, you know, WHOEVER, must have escaped from the hospital room by removing the ceiling tiles and crawling between the floors. BECAUSE THAT'S SO EASY WHEN YOU HAVE A TWELVE-YEAR-OLD WITH A BROKEN LEG.

Scully continues to zip around the hospital, disturbing actual patients. Eventually, Skinner -- or IS HE? - calls to her from a side room, and informs her that he has Gibson, that they went out through the ceiling. "I don't know who to trust!" he hisses. He gives her a peek at Gibson, warning, "They're going to find him." Indeed.

Back in Gibson's room, Doggett looks in the crawlway between the floors and finds -- you guessed it -- Skinner himself, eyes all swollen shut and red, which, as you may or may not recall, is what happens when a human being is exposed to the green blood of the ABH. I think. Although, wouldn't that imply that ABH had been wounded? Or...Okay, I'm confused, but go with me. If you get why Skinner's all swollen and burned and whatnot, please explain it on the forums. Thanks.
