Meanwhile, Jay and his band mates are all, "Where's Whitters? Should we start?" Because entire gigs -- their success and failure -- depend on her presence.
Back at the apartment, Olivia tries to style herself to not look like a tight-ass, entitled bitch. She thinks black should do the trick. As she dodders around her massive closet, Whitney and Erin freaking over being late. Whitters (ha ha, totally her new name!) and Erin share a synchronized 'pagne chug while Olivia is all, "Lah dee dah! I loooove clothes! They all look so good on me!"
Yet still at The Cutting Room, Jay and Pottsy (obviously the brains behind the Tamarama organization) make the call to start without Whitney. A-hole and Sami awkwardly bop in the crowd, despite a noticeable absence of music.
Whitney finally firmly says to Olivia that they should go, at which point she practically acts like she was waiting for them. Bitch. Speaking of bitches, Whitney finds one of Nevan's skanky socks between the couch cushions. And I just threw up my dinner. Though, to be fair, it could have been much, much worse.
Finally down at The Cutting Room, the girls head inside with, like, two songs left on the set list. Olivia slugs champagne and looks about as bored as Lauren at one of Audrina's shows. From atop her pedestal, she can't comprehend the spatial dynamic of crowds and gets all bent out of shape for coming into fleeting physical contact with another person. God forbid! Erin actually has to tell her that it's a normal occurrence. Sheesh. JR arrives and engages Erin in meaningless patter.
The band wraps up, and Jay goes to find a beach towel to wipe off the situation on his face. Seriously, I know stages are hot, but it's like he just ran a half marathon. Olivia makes it clear she's going to make a break for it at the first chance by telling Whitney and Erin she was happy to have them over earlier. Jay makes his less-sweaty way down to Whitney and Co. As expected, Olivia pretends she has to "work" tomorrow and tells them to behave themselves like an old biddy.
Meanwhile, Erin chats with Sami. As JR stands right behind her (!), she notes how awkward it is to be around JR since they're in that in-between stage. Sami asks how things are with Duncan, and Erin claims they're good. Sami wonders re: the long-distance relationship, "How [do] you do it?... How do you make it work?" Drawing from her vast store of long-distance relationship know-how, Erin answers, "Exactly." Somebody get this girl a book deal!
