Instead of letting him pin himself into a corner, A-holette proves what a sub-par debater she is by bringing up her non-date with the coworker. It's an obvious (and obviously calculated) ploy to fire back at him and make him jealous. And it works. For a second, A-hole literally looks like he is summoning every ounce of strength in his body to stop himself from punching her out. It's quite horrifying, actually, because he could shatter her. He quells the Hulk-like anger long enough to realize her amateur maneuverings and calls her out. Now she's pinned, so he brings on the emotional manipulation, insisting that she has to trust him. Her solid argument against him once again dismantled by her own mental ineptitude, she dissolves into tears and whining.

He knows he's won, so he acts all faux-contrite. Suddenly, she flips the switch, declaring that she needs to move out and that, in fact, she's even looking for a place. Wow, all that bullshit with Jay was so worth it. Aren't you glad, A-hole? Glad that Jay was the one jackass in Manhattan who could actually put up with your bullshit on a live-in basis, and you kicked him out to the curb? A-hole makes one last plea for everything to go back to the way it was -- before getting up and leaving his crying girlfriend alone in a restaurant.

Long, weepy music break, as if it's the end of the episode. Then the show realizes that everyone hates these A-holes and has to transition night to day before returning to Whitney. She and Jess are shopping, and she dub-recaps her chat with Jay. Jess basically tells her Jay is a lying liar. Come on, Jess. Aussies gotta stick together. Nicole would never do this to Hugh!!!

Next week: Whitney and Olivia clash as they style an ELLE cover shoot for Jessica Alba, after which Olivia claims credit for Whitney's ideas. Whitney = pissed. That slutbag Dani pays a visit to NYC, culminating in Jay suggesting they leave a club together. Oh, come on!
