So it's the end of the episode and time for some indispensable advice. Some people would go to Danny Tanner. Others Ward Cleaver. Who does Whitney visit? Kelly Cutrone, of course! Whitney gives Kelly the scoop on her new life, mentioning her new co-workers, including Olivia. At this, Kelly can't even contain her disdain. She asks why socialite Olivia is even working. Well, the simple answer, Kelly, is that MTV hired her. Kelly waxes nostalgic and offers to help Whitney with everything from life advice to dry cleaner recommendations. Whitney laps this up, admitting she has felt alone. Kelly asks about Alex. Whitney laughs about how Kelly "set them up," and Kelly admits she doesn't have the best taste in men. Whitney rehashes the gossip drama, so Kelly doles out her first piece of advice, while also revealing exactly why she has gotten so far in her profession -- she trusts no one.
This season: Boys will be boys, and girls will cry about it. Particularly in reference to d-bag Adam, who may have cheated on his co-dependent girlfriend Allie, whom I already hate, with Bergdorf buyer Samantha. Olivia gives Whitney bad relationship advice -- likely to her own advantage -- as Whitney and Jay struggle over monogamy and priorities, especially when Whitney meets a guy named Chris. JC Almighty, this looks like a boring show. See you next week!
