Paris, Nicole, Janet, and Curly are having a day of beauty. Curly's hair is getting teased to within an inch of its life, and it is awesome. Curly is definitely one of those women who go to the beauty shop and get their hair done once per week, and then don't wash it the rest of the week. I've never understood that. My aunt does it. How do you not have bedhead in the morning? Doesn't it smell? And itch? Anyway. Paris and Nicole get manicures, while Janet gets a pedicure. Janet asks Paris about the ideal man she would like to marry. Paris says she wants someone who is nice, sweet, smart, good-looking, and honest. Janet asks if he has to be good-looking if he's all those other things, too. Paris says ugly is a dealbreaker. But she's not shallow or superficial. Janet asks Nicole what she thinks. Nicole says that she doesn't like good-looking guys, and that she wants them to be "real skinny and pale and look like they're dying." Paris starts cracking up. Janet can't believe Nicole likes guys who "look like they have no blood in 'em." Janet is truly horrified.
Paris interviews that Janet was trying to find out what kind of guys she and Nicole like, and what type of restaurant they go to, but that she was scared of Nicole's type of guy. Janet asks Nicole what her dad would do if Nicole brought home a guy like that. Based on what we've heard about Nicole's home life, I'm guessing her dad would continue not to care. Nicole says she has brought home guys like that, and that her dad started crying. Picture Lionel Richie crying. Outrageous! Janet asks if either of the girls could fall in love with a guy from a small town. Well, that question wasn't prompted by the producers or anything. Nicole says she should. Paris adds that Nicole likes "dirty, ugly boys." Paris interviews that they've only seen two cute guys in Arkansas, out of a thousand. They've seen a thousand guys? Or there are only a thousand guys in Arkansas? Nicole suggests that Curly get her hair done like Scary Spice, "like a big Afro with blonde streaks." Like Curly knows who Scary Spice is. Janet cracks up. Curly asks what Richard would think if she came home with that hair. Nicole says, "He wouldn't say anything. He'd just drag you in the bedroom." Everyone cracks up. Sometimes Nicole is actually funny, and not in a mean way. That's why I think she still has the potential to be a normal human being, unlike Paris.
