Dr. Morales, the cute lady that Doc is dating (I can call her cute now because this scene doesn't directly involve a rape), is talking to Yokas, who sits on an exam table. Morales says that half the force is outside waiting. Yokas only has bruised ribs and she's going to get a painkiller subscription. Yokas was wearing a vest, which absorbed most of the impact. Yokas tells Morales that she is pregnant, ten weeks along. Morales says that it shouldn't have any effect on the pregnancy. Morales says that Bosco wants to come in and see her. "Are you ready for Bosco?" she asks. Is anyone ever really ready for him? Yokas tells Bosco it's just bruised ribs and some desk duty for a few weeks. Bosco actually comes across as gentle and caring in this scene as she berates herself for going after the guy. "You didn't know he had a pipe," he says. Yokas points out that the rapist could have shot her with her own gun. Bosco asks if he can call Fred now. She says no. On the way out, Yokas blurts out "I miscarried." Uh oh. See where this is going? She explains to Bosco (or rather "lies") and says that the beating caused her to miscarry. He is sympathetic, for once. "I'm sorry," he says, several times.

On the drive home, Yokas complains to Bosco to take it easy on the bumps. He blames himself for letting her get out of the car earlier. She says it's not his fault. Unknowingly tripping all over the issues, Bosco points out that it's weird how things work out, as if there's some divine plan. The only divine plan is the one Yokas is setting in motion. And it's a permanent one. Yokas says Bosco is going off on an "existential tangent." That's the only thing she remembers from her semester of philosophy. Bosco laughs. "You didn't think I was smart enough to take philosophy?" she asks. "I didn't think you were stupid enough to take philosophy," he answers. On the radio, they get a call -- the rapist has been caught. Yokas makes them circle back to the station. She wants to be there.

At the station, Sully says that the rapist went to a hospital for his stab wound and got caught. Ty says he never got a good enough look at the guy to identify him. Faith goes upstairs to where a line-up is set up and spots the guy immediately. One of the guys looks just like Vanilla Ice.
