So the show starts off with Bobby going into the visiting room of a prison. He walks up to some guy and gives him one of those "I'm not gay" back-slapping hugs and then sits down at a table with him. Apparently, from the way they are talking, I gather that the guy is Bobby's brother and has been in jail for the past year and will be getting out next week. The brother asks if their mother will let him stay with her, and Bobby tells him she said no. His brother says that he has been staying with the program and that he needs to stay with their mom because he can't do it alone. Bobby says he'll ask their mother again. Um, okay, like that scene made any sense.

Katie Holmes Wannabe -- a.k.a. Sunny -- is outside Kim's apartment waiting for her. As Kim is leaving the building to go to work, Sunny comes over to her and asks if she can crash at Kim's place for a while. Kim tells her that she doesn't trust her to stay in her place while she is out, but offers to help her contact her family or find a shelter. Sunny just runs off.

Bosco is waiting for Yokas at the bottom of a flight of stairs leading to a train platform and as Yokas makes it to the bottom of the stairs, Bosco tells her that he thinks they should get their story straight in case anyone asks. Yeah, like anyone would care if some gang leader was killed. She tells him that if anyone asks he should just tell the truth.

Sully is about to walk into the precinct to start his shift, when Ty's mom drives up with Ty. She gets out of the car to say hello to Sully. Ty's mom is pretty -- she looks like one of those moms that is cool, but if you cross her she'll kick your ass. And she looks like someone who would party after midnight. She and Sully realize that they haven't seen each other in six years, and that they should grab a coffee sometime and catch up on old times. Do I see a plot twist in the future? Cop dating partner's mother? We'll see. As Ty walks away from the car and his mom is about to drive away, she yells out from the car, "Hope I put enough starch in your shirt!" Ty has to explain to Sully that, because he never does the laundry right, his mom does it for him. Sully asks him if she still cuts the crusts off his sandwiches too. Ty tells him they're better that way. I knew he was a mama's boy. A rookie cop living with mommy, and he busts Sully's chops about dating?

Doc and Carlos are putting an old lady on a stretcher in the ambulance, and Doc is telling Carlos that Jerry is going on disability. Carlos thinks that it's a scam that citizens and the city pay for Jerry to sit around and rent videos and watch hockey on TV. Doc informs him that Jerry would rather be working than shuffling around with a colostomy bag. Carlos gives Doc a full-body whatever, and then starts to go to the driver's side of the bus. Doc asks him what he's doing, since Doc always drives. Carlos tells him in a snotty tone that he is in training and he needs to learn how to drive the bus. Carlos is getting a little cocky -- I think he needs to be reminded that he is no longer in the Marines. So Carlos starts driving, and as he's turning a corner, he turns around to look at Doc while he's telling him something, and he smacks the ambulance into a man trying to cross the street. Carlos, your job is to help people, not hurt them! Now you know why Doc does all the driving!
