Cut to Officer Sullivan sitting in his car. The kid runs past him, with Bosco in pursuit.
Cut to Bosco chasing the kid with Yokas driving behind them. The kid runs down a street, another cop car comes from a side street and Sullivan gets out of the car and opens up the back door of his car. The kid runs into the cop car and Sullivan closes the door, and Bosco slams into the car and starts screaming at the top of his lungs, "OPEN THE DOOR!" Sullivan and Yokas tell him to calm down, and the kid is yelling, "I didn't do nothing!" and Bosco is all, "MY ASS!" which is also what I'm thinking about this show making it through mid-season. So Bosco shows Sullivan why he was chasing the kid -- on the side of his car, "BOSCO IS A DICK" is written in big black letters. Hee hee. They showed the word "dick" on network TV. I wondered why they showed the series premiere at ten on Thursday night, when it usually will be aired at eight on Sundays -- I guess they didn't want to offend those godly folk who enjoy watching people get shot or burned to death every Sunday night. So anyway, Sullivan is all, "Pee Wee did that?" and Bosco is all, "I popped him for curfew twice this week -- the last time, THAT WAS HIS EXACT WORDS" and starts slamming his car. Then Sullivan is all, "A lot of people might have written that." I would have written "BOSCO IS AN OVER-ACTOR," myself. And who in the hell "pops" someone, and how in the hell does someone "pop" another person? So then Yokas hears something from their radio and tells Bosco they have to go to the scene of an accident, and Bosco is all, "What, do we work traffic now?" and gives Sullivan a big "whatever" face (tm xix). Yes, Bosco, you work traffic and anywhere else police are needed. It's your job. Suck it up. And I see that you still remember how to use the "whatever" face you picked up from working on 90210 -- too bad you couldn't have picked up some talent at the same time. So Sullivan asks Yokas how she does it every day, and she tells him she thinks of Bosco as one of her kids and it puts it all in a whole new perspective, and as she is about to explain how Bosco really isn't that bad, Bosco starts pounding on the car and screams, "IF WE'RE GONNA GO, LET'S GO!" like some snot-nosed adolescent, and Sullivan looks at Yokas and says, "Most kids grow up." Hmmm...the tough but loving mother/wife cop, and the loud and obnoxious cop -- nope, never seen that on TV or the movies before.
