Next thing you know, she's striding down the hall, and Kellerman's hot after her -- in more ways then one, if you know what I'm saying. He mocks her abilities to name and describe afflictions without being able to actually recognize them. She finally spins and reiterates that Lopez is her case. Kellerman stares wordlessly at her, furious, but is momentarily distracted by an announcement over the P.A. that his ex-wife is on line one for him. As if. He rages at the ceiling, "Dr. Kellerman. Is. Not. Here!" His crew, assembled in the hallway, watches the spectacle with knowing smirks. He turns back to Joyner and mutters, "I hope I'm wrong." "No you don't," she retorts. Kellerman has a hissyfit and orders everyone to wait around to see how Lopez fares without treatment. Yanking off his scrubs, he hollers, "When you need me, page me! I'm going to see my son!" Which is a good idea, given the mood he's in.
As Kellerman heads through one of the admitting areas, a nurse points him out to some guy in a suit with a really cheesy jacquard-print tie. Jacquard approaches him, asking, "How's my father?" Kellerman: "I give up. How is he?" The guy clarifies that his father is Mr. Lopez. Kellerman softens and says Little Lopez can probably see his father soon. Little Lopez says he doesn't want to see him, and then angrily explains that his father "checked out" on him seven years ago. He's just there because the hospital called and he figured the old man was already dead. Kellerman snaps, "Sorry to disappoint you. But hey, stick around, it's early," before heading out the door.
Meanwhile, up in an ultrasound room, Robin's getting her insides scoped. The technician declares that she isn't pregnant. Robin isn't exactly shocked by that bit of news, though, since she hasn't had sex in several years. The technician gets snitty. Robin says she "tried to tell them." The technician heads for a phone and bitches out Thor for wasting her time, informing him that his patient hasn't had sex in years. "Intercourse!" Robin clarifies. Take that any way you wish.
Kellerman has just enough time to sit on his motorcycle, so we'll know that he's a loner...a rebel, before his pager sounds. He calls for an update, and a voice informs him that Lopez "crashed. [They] got him back, but just barely." Thank God; Little Lopez will be so relieved!
Meanwhile, Yang is having another run-in with Nurse Thang. She asks the good nurse how Robin is doing, and is informed that the girl was sent up to OB. Yang thinks that makes sense, given her symptoms, and deduces that Robin must be pregnant. Nurse Thang squelches that with the declaration that Robin hasn't has sex in years. "Well then, she can't be pregnant," Yang says. "Oooo, you're good," Nurse Thang snerts before stomping off. She's just about knocked on her ass when the door swings open and a frantic woman covered in blood rushes through it, squealing that they have to help her baby.
