Another day, another feel-good visit to Jerry, the musical prodigy. Jerry is listening to the music of the construction and Sarah's skirt. Sarah tells Jerry that she found the article about Jerry conducting the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra in 1986. Jerry's response: "The Mets won the World Series in 1986." Sarah asks him what happened after that, and Jerry says, "Then the Twins won it." Snort. Sarah says she means what happened to him: "I mean you had this job conducting and then what -- a wife or a family? Jerry, I was just wondering because you had this life there and now you're here and I was just wondering if maybe you could tell me how that happened. Jerry?" She says all of this with a smile. Wow, what unbelievable rudeness. I guess no one ever told her that perhaps you shouldn't ask deeply personal questions of a stranger concerning their fall from grace and fame. "Key was wrong. Uptown, it's different. A lot of minor thirds above Columbus Circle." With those cryptic remarks, Jerry walks away, and Sarah stares after him in disbelief.
