Samantha sneaks back into Heather's office to retrieve the recording device. She presses play and immediately we re-hear the embezzlement conversation with Tom. That's some technology. She pops a new mini-disc back in and puts it back into place.

Ethan and Faith settle into their grimy hotel room. Ethan's got a confession to make. "First time, right?" Faith assumes. No. Uh...well. Maybe. He wants to know if he's in good hands. They lie down, but Faith quickly gets drawn out of the mood by the sleaziness of their surroundings. She was the one who picked the place! She wants his first time to be special. More crappy dialogue:

Faith: Was yours [special]?
Ethan: I don't know yet.
Faith: But I thought...you're a virgin?

Ethan wants to know why Faith just can't be herself. She doesn't know. She's all screwed up. As much as Ethan wants to do this and do her, they can wait. She appreciates what a nice guy he is. A message from the Church of Jesus Christ and the Latter-Day Saints.

Heather's back in her bikini. Actually, she's in the process of taking it off with appropriate camera angles to hide all her plastic-surgery scars. She grabs a towel and steps through the sauna door. Who should already be sweating up a storm but Jack? She lets him gawk at her for a while before she finally covers up with her towel and takes a seat. Jack's going over a new acquisition. Something for Gwen? Maybe. Heather wants to know how Gwen gets the men in her life to keep buying her resorts. Jack quickly tires of this conversation. Besides, he got a good glimpse at those scars. Heather reveals that everyone knows about his romantic rendezvous with Gwen in Santa Barbara the night of Jenny's accident. She has somehow figured out that Jack's in love with Gwen and has always been in love with her. Amazing -- who told her? Before Jack leaves, he advises Heather to be careful of too much heat. She warns him agaisnt too little. Gotcha, Jack!
