Seems like Gen won; Ty's helping her. She complains about how difficult he's being today. She tells him he needs to eat a snack. He claims to be all snacked up: "I'm snackluscious." Shut up, Ty. Gen complains with a half-hearted giggle, "Oh, this so needs to be over." She claims to love Ty. He's fastening thin chartreuse molding on the ceiling where the coving levels out again. The ceiling is still stark white, which allows us to see that the colour they put on the walls is actually an extremely pale green. On TV, though, it just reads as white. Gen, meanwhile, is covering the windows with black curtains. Yup, that looks about right for someone who had a bright yellow apartment, filled with light and plants and colour.

Frank is still rationalizing and justifying his earth-shattering decision to go over budget. I don't know how much longer it can be before he breaks into an aria. He claims that the idea is to salvage something from the room, and whines that there was nothing salvageable in there. What a crock! I've seen lots of rooms on this show with way worse "befores." His sofa looked relatively new and unused; it could have been slipcovered, or it could have been incorporated into the design. The funky red chair could have been covered. He only had enough framed artwork and photos to fill a gallery sitting around. Can you imagine if Vern had gotten hold of this room, how much effort he would have put into showcasing Jason's collection? Frank says, "What can you do with a box and a magazine rack?" There really weren't all that many boxes around. No, things weren't especially well-arranged, and there were a lot of pictures on the floor, but it's not like the place was empty. Frank: "Even Vern, my God, even Vern couldn't do anything with that." Shut up, Frank. He says he loves Vern to death, but that he's got a point. MPDP, gesturing about Frank's person: "There is not a point on you anywhere!" Frank starts to agree with that, then catches what she actually said. Then he gets faux-pissed that she's doubled over laughing about it. He tells her she's outta there.

Gen and her team are outside with pens, paper, and orchids. Gen wants them to use the orchids for inspiration, and they'll create a triptych.

Paige Cam. She finds Frank and Robin rooting through Jason's closet for things to hang on the wall. I hope that's because they stored his pictures there during the room unloading, and not because they can't find anything among all that framed stuff. Frank seems chagrined to see that it's the Paige Cam. They explain what they're doing. Josh comes along and squeezes in.
