Zeenya: Warrior Princess (actually, maybe that should be "Zeenya: Warrior Belle") is wearing a shirt exactly the colour of the walls. I know people say Laurie dresses to match her rooms -- hell, I'm sure I've said it -- but I think we have it backward. I think she uses her wardrobe for inspiration, the way Gen uses her lunch and her toe jam and her dust bunnies for inspiration. Laurie just doesn't trumpet it, the way Gen does. MPDP says that the zeenyas are like bursts of colour, like blossoms of colour. Well...yeah. Man, nobody has a grasp of the obvious like the people in this episode. Laurie loves the zeenyas. She and MPDP both love the way some of the petals go onto the ceiling. Yup, that's pure genius. MPDP mentions the yellow, saying that yellow was quite an issue at the other house but it's very likeable here. MPDP says that Laurie was only $1.07 over budget. Laurie's amazed; she thought it would be more. Laurie trills that she loves the pendant lamp: "It's all so fresh and wonderful and perfect!" MPDP and Laurie start squeaking and fanning their faces and pretending to sob. MPDP squeaks that they're getting all girly now. Laurie: "It's the room, it's the room! It's contagious!" Lord, I hope not. Between SARS, West Nile, monkey pox, and I don't know what all, we have enough problems, thank you.
