Salome: "Hey Bill and Eric! Join us for our meeting about crushing the mainstreamers."
Bill: "Ah'm hep to that."
Eric: "Huh."
Nora: "Think globally, act locally. We've got guys in the British Parliament that can help there..."
Roslyn: "Russia's always good for a pogrom."
King Russell and Steve Newlin flirt, I am told, at this time. I won't acknowledge it, and I won't respond to it, but those are the reports.
After somebody mentions the Joker Gambit -- "bankrolling gangs of vigilantes willing to stake mainstreamers on sight" -- a lightbulb goes off over Bill's head because of what Salome said earlier, about sucking down TruBlood.
"Fuck politics. Concentrate on the TruBlood. Bomb the factories -- there are only five of them -- destroy them publicly, and you force mainstreamers to feed on humans. As they were meant to."
That's... That's actually really awesome. Unravel the whole show, and suddenly the vampires are out of the closet and murdering people because they can't help themselves.
Eric: "What the hell are you doing?"
Bill, verbatim: "Evolving."
That, and the brilliant plan... It's kind of a "Tiffany" moment, those two things at once. I have never cheered so hard as when Russell Edgington ganked that guy's heart out of his back. And that, Bill Compton, is pretty much how you've made me feel tonight.
NEXT WEEK
Raelle Tucker. That's all I know, but that's all I fuckin' need. How about you?
