Serita brought horror movies, just to taunt Jo apparently. She is a whole other level of crafty. Serita suggests that Jo is a stalker just before Lacey arrives with the cupcakes. Jo awkwardly talks to Lacey about her mom and how hot she is now and happy she seems now that she's divorced. Good job socializing, Jo.
The whole Masterson family is apparently bad at social graces, as Tess shows up at Denise Richards's door late at night to invite her to the Green Grove Charity Brunch that I bet Denise Richards used to be in charge of. Tess invites Denise Richards to go with her and says people want to see her. (Probably to get hair and makeup tips; I would.) Is this all still in the same day? What day of the week is it?
Danny and Rico hang out at the diner and Rico is awkward. They're kinda getting along. Danny is charming and you'd never guess he was the one in juvie and not the entire Masterson family. The soccer team shows up at the diner -- awkward!?
Meanwhile, at the slumber party (or whatever's going on at Lacey's house), the girls play Cards Against Humanity. I wish they wouldn't as it shouldn't be played by humorless people, but here they are. Phoebe notices the box of Regina's stuff, which Jo then begins to eye intensely. Jo suggests they watch a movie, since Cards Against Humanity is obviously a bust. Phoebe suggests Grease really excitedly and Serita is like, "that's not happening." Part of me loves Serita because she's just saying what we're all thinking and part of me wonders why anyone would hang out with her ever.
At the diner, Rico and Danny seems very obsessed with watching the soccer team having fun without them. Danny goes up to them to confront them and he's invited by that turtleneck guy to join (all of a sudden the soccer team is just four people). Danny passes, because he knows when he's not wanted, unlike Jo. I can't stop looking at how Archie's letterman's jacket is buttoned all the way up to the top button. WTF, Archie.
Tess and Kyle have a boring conversation about charity brunches and Karen, and all Kyle can think about is getting into that house with his new search warrant. He's such a joke.
At the party that turned into a sleepover after all, Jo wants to check out that Regina Box, but Lacey wants to eat candy corn while the other girls sleep. Lacey asks Jo what it's like being around Danny all the time again. Jo says it's different... because they are teenagers now, I bet. They bond a little. Once Lacey drifts off (and we know she sleeps like a rock), Jo breaks into the Regina Box and finds a scrapbook and some photos and boom, a mix CD called Archie's Greatest Hits. This is great, especially because Archie took the time to put the title over a soccer picture of himself on the jewel case and the CD. He must have one of those fancy at-home printer things.
