Betty and Matt are in a martini bar. Matt agrees that the numbers should add up. They chat a bit, and Betty takes pride in remembering a couple of the things that Matt has said about himself. Matt challenges her to name his favorite movie, but Betty thinks it's a trick question and that he hasn't told her. Finally, she guesses The Godfaher, which he says is right. Then he says he only said that so she'd get excited, and it's really Wall-E, and they make cute robot voices at each other. As you do. Betty gets an email on her phone, and it's a Facebook friend request from Henry. She tells Matt about her old boyfriend going out with a new girl, and Matt acts very, very interested. Jump forward, and there are three empty martini glasses in front of Betty. But only one in front of Matt. Betty complains about it being cold, and Matt massages her hands. Then she freaks out and tries to run away.
But! Matt has forgotten his wallet and needs to borrow some money. So Betty goes out to the ATM, where she discovers that her account has $101,242.13 in her checking account! Normally I'd say that she should invest some of that so it isn't just taking up space in her back account. But with the way things are, I think she should put it in shoeboxes under her bed. Tracy Jordan would recommend that she hide it.
Okay, it's obviously not hers. Back in Queens, Hilda thinks she should keep it. The bank says it came from "Meade," so Betty figures she can fix this when she gets back to work in the morning. Justin says that at least it was a memorable date, which sets Ignacio off, moaning about how long it's been since Elena was there. Oh, and Betty realizes she left Matt alone in the bar waiting for her. Betty, you're a horrible, horrible person. Hilda and Justin have some entertaining lines on the couch, which mostly rely on tone of voice and gesture, so I'm not going to recap them. But they were good!
Betty calls Matt, but goes to voicemail. She says "Henry" a few times, which is not ideal.
Betty arrives at Mode. Amanda tells her that "a cute-ish boy is here to see you. Is he the one you're trying to sleep with to get over the other one?" Amanda looks a little demented here. Matt, who is right there, says, "Um, I'm right here." Amanda says, "I know." And then, after a round of reaction shots, winks again. Another wink! I'm enjoying Amanda's winks and I would like to see them more often. Maybe her winks and I could get a drink someplace while the rest of the episode goes on without the two of us?
