Mossy Manse; Exterior: Elena tells Stefan that Vicki threatened her, but he tries to pooh pooh it, saying that she's on edge because of the transition and it's up in the air as to how long before she gets it under control. He admits it took him a long time, but he didn't have anyone helping him. He then warns her about keeping the Germ away from Vicki by way of another Mythology Moment: "The thing is it's hard to resist certain people, especially when you're new. It's difficult to separate your feelings. Love, lust, anger, desire -- it can all blur into one urge: hunger. [...] Jeremy can't see her, not now. She might not be able to resist him.
