Peter introduces himself to Cruz. They ask him why he called Ripley on the night Buddy died (they apparently have Ripley's phone records). He says that he can't, even posthumously, violate client/attorney privilege, in effect saying that it was Buddy who called Ripley.

At Nicky's casino, Ripley introduces himself to Lenny at a blackjack table. Marcus and Ripley play tug-of-war with offers to get Lenny. Finally, Ripley offers one-deck/no-limit blackjack, which gets a gasp from the crowd. I guess that's a big deal.

At The Viva, Lenny starts gambling. Peter's there. Why doesn't he just call people in for questioning instead of hovering everywhere? I bet it's because this is a crappy show and nothing really ever makes sense. Peter asks him about the phone call from Buddy, and Ripley says that Buddy asked him to go bass fishing. But he said no because bass fishing is not in season. I know. Peter meets Mick outside, and Mick tells him that Geneva had an alibi for the night Buddy was killed. Peter decides that Natalie is the best way to get more info.

In the desert, Cheyenne and Jack arrive at a party. Jack is really excited about seeing beer, but Cheyenne tells him not to drink any. He begs, and she relents: "Just a sip." I see where this is going. We cut back and forth between Jack proceeding to get plastered and Lenny winning a ton of Ripley's money.

Jonesy tells Ripley to pull the plug on Lenny's game, as he's winning all of their money. Ripley sits down to play with him in an effort to throw off his card-counting. It works, for the moment. Watching people gamble is rivetkhgoaj…I'm sorry, I dozed off for a moment.

At the beach, Jack hears some douche say that Cheyenne is hot and he's going to "tap that." Jack confronts the guy, who says that Cheyenne has been "grinding up against [his] business all night." Wow. Jack pushes the guy down. He gets up and beats the hell out of Jack. He calls Jack "Muppet Face," which I think is really funny, yet cryptic. It's probably lucky Jack's so drunk -- the pounding most likely hurt less. Cheyenne breaks up the fight, but Jack gets up and starts screaming at the guy, who then knocks his lights out.

At The Viva, Ripley is still trying to throw Lenny off. It doesn't work, and Lenny wins. A lot. And he sings "Money" some more. The whole music thing becomes increasingly ineffective with every note sung.
