Sitcom Inflation

george_lopez.jpgSpeaking as someone who occasionally finds herself awake at ridiculous hours of the night and very much enjoys having something she can turn on, pay no attention to, and hopefully fall asleep by, I find myself concerned that Nick at Nite is allowing its selection of overnight sitcoms to deteriorate. I understood when they added Full House, because at least it's sort of a camp classic, even if it's not up there with classic Nick selections like Cheers and Roseanne.

But, dude...George Lopez? Really? You want me to watch George Lopez when I'm lying awake at two in the morning? I realize that the slavish devotion to The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, which NatN ran so many times that I think I saw every single one three times (Ben Vereen, you bastard!) was perhaps a sign of trouble, but there are plenty of Cosby episodes. We still love Furniture City! Somehow, I feel like George Lopez represents some sort of crossing of the Rubicon, where after this, it's going to be Yes, Dear and Still Standing. On Nick At Nite. Where I'd sooner see The Facts Of Life or Who's The Boss? return to regular rotation, rather than begin the long, painful plunge into the ABC vault.

Fred, Three letters AIG>>>in the Caymen Islands? These rnnuiasce companies have had a licensce to steal from NJ for far too long however, one reason our premiums are so high is to cover the cost of a the ilegal aliens that drive without rnnuiasce, which significantly drives our costs up on many fronts .the ones that Dougherty is courting and that Cresitello wants to make matriculate legally oh and you are sniffing up the right tree Fred The Dougherty's, Gsell-Worths and Wirths have funding and are sending these libelous mailers anonymously against Cryan because they know their entire ticket is a lame duck and last nights debate proved it having sat there for the entire session, the only person on the Dougherty team that seemed to want to be there was Mary If last night didn't make everyone understand why Gsell is running on behalf of his family ( Il just ask the people what they think and hope I dont see tall buildings and get hit by cars when I'm jogging ) and the sleazy poitics they are willing to engage in, must just be uneducated and ignorant

Raymond Delbury was censured by the state Board of Education on Dec. 18, 2007, for vilnatiog the code when he placed a classified advertisement in a local newspaper inviting readers to contact him, as a board member, for answers to (their) questions and for attempting to micro-manage the K-8 school district instead of establishing policies for the district, according to the 12-page appeals court ruling.Delbury was also charged with refusing to follow protocol. Citing ethics violations, Delbury was prohibited from speaking on behalf of the school board and from speaking to members of the press without consent from the board president.According to an ethics complaint against him, Delbury just shows up at the board office and takes copies of documents he wants without asking or telling anyone what he takes, and treats teachers and other educators in a demeaning and harassing manner.e2809d The ethics complaint was filed Dec. 11, 2006Source nj.com: published 8/10/2009
