Facing the sad news that virtually every scripted show in L.A. has shut down production due to the WGA strike, you can't help wondering what depths the studios will sink to in order to keep ramming new episodes into the pipeline. You have to wonder; we actually know.

We srleoy miss our TiVo!!It's such a missed opportunity that TiVo never moved more into the cable company DVR market. Such a shame that their couldn't cultivate more out of their partnerships. Even our old v2.0 single-tuner TiVo had exponentially-greater smarts than what we're using now.But we simply couldn't justify the expense at the time when we were ready to make the move to high def. Our cable co's Motorola DVR box is a pale comparison, but it's an essentially free dual-tuner, HD DVR. At the time, making the move to a comparable TiVo would've cost roughly $600, plus the expense of renting 2 CableCards, along with the continued monthly TiVo subscription.
, I dont like how he hedalnd it, and i thought it wasnt fair to the kids at CBA how their admins were so secretive about it. I guess the logic is that he didnt want to leave SHU high and dry during recruiting season so he waited until the 7/31 recruiting deadline to officially leave. Either way it leaves Gonzo in a tough spot and CBA is far behind the curve having gone most of the summer without a coach. Best of luck to Geoff at CBA, and to Jerry Walker or whoever gets hired. and it WONT be danny hurley. Have any of you graduated from SHU recently? (as in the last 5-10 years) Those statements about penny pinching are all true. SHU Admin breaks the bank for NOTHING, let alone an assistant basketball coach. On the rare occasions that they do spend money, they dont spend it in the right places. This has been a downward spiral ever since Bishop Myers took over and dont expect the trend to reverse anytime soon.
