What could make a new webseries from Joss Whedon even better? How about if it was a musical? Awesome, right? Still not enough for you? How about adding Neil Patrick Harris (aka Doogie Howser, aka Barney)? You want more? Does the name Nathan Fillion fill you with delight? If I told you that all of those things were happening would your head explode? Mine almost did. The Buffy the Vampire Slayer mastermind announced on his own blog that he's been hard at work on a superhero musical for the web. If you've seen the "Once More, With Feeling" episode of Buffy, you know that Joss is a huge musical theater fan and knows what he's doing. Whedon basically desciribes it as a good vs. evil story that involves a cute girl in a laundromat. NPH is set to star as the villianous Dr. Horrible (perfect name) and Nathan Fillion is the do-gooder Captain Hammer, while Felicia Day is the aforementioned cute girl. Since I still listen to songs from the Buffy soundtrack on my iPod, I've got complete faith that this three 10-minute long episode series will be fabulously fun and while there's no web-premiere date, I'm willing to wait.
