Hulk, Hellboy and Hitler Coming to TV

A ton of new TV casting news has come out, and you won't believe who's coming to your television! First off, Hellboy himself, Ron Perlman, will be joining the cast of FX's new series Anarchy, where he will play the president of an outlaw motorcycle club that protects its California town from drug dealers and corporate developers. He replaced Scott Glenn, who played the part in the pilot, when the show became more of a dark comedy. Other movies Ron Perlman should replace Scott Glenn in: The Hunt for Red October, The Silence of the Lambs and Backdraft. A little Ron Perlman makes everything better!

Four actors have been cast in the 2-hour prequel to Season 7 of 24. Robert Carlyle (28 Weeks Later, Hitler: The Rise of Evil) plays Jack Bauer's mentor, Benton, which explains why sometimes Jack seems like he's bat-shit crazy. Eric Lively (The L Word) plays the president's son, Tony Todd (Chuck) plays an African dictator and Gil Bellows (Ally McBeal) plays a State Department officer in the November 23 flashback episode, which has Bauer (Keifer Sutherland) dealing with an international crisis in South Africa as a new U.S. president is sworn in back home. (My bet? It's an infection of Rage.)

Lastly, Hulk fans will want to tune into American Gladiators on June 9, because that episode will be entirely Hulked out. In addition to host Hulk Hogan, the show will also feature guest host Lou Ferrigno (TV's original Hulk) and a bright green Gladiator, Titan, doing his best Hulk impression. In fact, the entire show is going green, in that the water, the balls, and even the lights will be bright green. Also, 1,000 pairs of Hasbro's Hulk Hands toys will be handed out to the audience, and the Gladiators will actually wear them for the Gauntlet event! Here's hoping the sound chips in each foam mitt are piped into the arena's sound system, so we can hear each bone-crunching hit. Here's also hoping the new Incredible Hulk movie (opening June 13) doesn't suck as bad as the last one, so we don't look back on this episode and laugh our asses off in the years to come.
