The long-running series of online Heroes graphic novels (drawn by the creative types at Aspen Comics) have been exploring different corners of the Heroes universe. But this summer, new installments will form a continuous storyline, rather than stand-alone episodes, and the story will introduce 12 new characters that fans can vote on. I know what you're thinking: "Why should I read some stupid comics on a stupid Website?" Well, because they're good, and because whichever character wins the vote just might make it onto the show this fall. That got your attention, didn't it? You'd be, like, a big-time Hollywood casting agent, and you wouldn't even have to do anything.

Here's something else that's going to blow your mind. You know that September 22 season premiere? Well, imagine that date was two months closer. Executive Producer Tim Kring is going to be at the San Diego Comic-Con again this year, hosting another filled-to-capacity panel. And at that panel... he wants to show the season premiere. Yeah, you heard me -- two months early. That's two months of covering your ears and going lalalalalala every time someone tries to tell you what they read on the Internet. Probably here. We're totally spoiling that shit.
