Comic Con Table Scraps

Comic Con Table Scraps

Since TWoP was too cheap to actually send me or anyone else from our staff to Comic Con, I've been left to toil here in my cube reading other people's coverage of the events. Surprisingly, this turned out to be pretty fun. Since you've probably already gotten all the newsy stuff you're going to want by now, I've compiled my favorite tales from the around the interwebs by people who actually went to Comic Con and had fun things to say about it because their bosses actually love them enough to send them places. Anyway...

- EW found out that Hugh Jackman is obsessed with Judge Judy (actual Wolvie quote: "Have you watched it lately?! Ohh, that woman. She's got it!") They also found out that the Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles producers revealed that a character would be killed off, which was news to the cast, who totally freaked out.

- You guys, Optimus Prime had a baby!

- Ask Ian McShane the wrong question and he will verbally eff you up. He also thinks the point of drama is to not make any sense at all, which could be true, how the hell should I know?

- You can get an autographed photo of Desmond for charity! Oh, and some other minor Lost things like Rousseau's story will finally be told and Jin is still on the show. Speaking of Jin, I'm crazy excited for the Lost zombie gang of Christian, Michael, Claire, Jin and maybe Locke to start their crazy undead antics up. It's going to be like Scooby Doo goes to Hawaii!

- Nobody cares about Fringe and it serves J.J. right for moving to Hawaii in the middle of Alias and leaving the guy from thirtysomething in charge.

- Neil Patrick Harris claims he doesn't remember making Doogie because those were his "heroin years," and I officially want to start an NPH-worshipping cult but with cuter shoes than those Heaven's Gate people had.

- I know it's not TV, but Trailer Addict filmed the Wolverine trailers OMG!

- My favorite movie site (besides ours, of course), Slashfilm, also has a great video of one of their writers asking random people if they've heard of Slashfilm, which apparently no one has. It's hilarious, and I know the feeling -- my own mother thinks I work at "TV Without Mercy," which is just unbelievable.
