I realize that just yesterday I said that I couldn't see myself getting into any more dance shows because the TV is so oversaturated with them at the moment... but then I saw that Chris Brown is getting his sexy smooth groove on and I might have changed my mind. It happens. Chris Brown is teaming up with Mark Burnett (reality show mastermind/guy who basically knows how to print money) and J.D. Roth (producer of Biggest Loser and host of that creepy show where they all had to live underground in a bunker) and basically the show will be You Got Served... please, oh, please let Shane Sparks be judging. That would just make me so freakin' happy. Even happier than the mere prospect that I get to stare at Chris Brown for an hour a week.
Contestants will compete in "impromptu dance-offs" with Brown and maybe some other people (according to the press release) judging. I'm sure there will be other "celebrity" judges. They might as well just lift Shane, JC Chasez and Lil Mama out of their comfy little America's Best Dance Crew seats and relocate them to the set of as-yet-untitled Chris Brown show. Because it sounds like it is the same show, but just with individual dancers and not necessarily group performances. Not that I'm complaining about that. I didn't mean to make that sounds like a bad thing. This Chris Brown show sounds infinitely more entertaining than Master of Dance because it sounds like they are finding actual B-Boys and girls to do the dancing and not just some random party girl who thinks that wiggling her ass and clapping her hands is actual dancing. For the record, it is not. If I can do it, it isn't really dancing, and I look vaguely like Elaine from Seinfeld when I get to boogieing.
So I'm excited, I guess. I'm hoping the prize is that they get to star in a Chris Brown video or something... which, in my book, is a prize really worth winning.

I bought a speaker that you plug into the headphones so that ur music can play louder than the speakers on the iphone. But when I did that, the music still ended up going through the iphone's speaker...is there a way to deactivate the speakers on the iphone, so I can use better speakers that plug into the headphone area? thanks!
