Miley Cyrus recently told the world that she would like to make a younger, cleaner Sex and the City, you know, for kids! This makes no sense to me. A younger, cleaner Sex and the City? I don't understand. First of all, are the characters in high school, like Miley? And are they country like Miley? So instead of being glamorous publicists, art gallery fancypants, high-powered lawyers and sex columnists, they'll be, like, part-time at Hot Dog on a Stick?

And since Miley is so obsessed with satisfying her plethora of puritanical fans, the show would likely take "clean" to a whole new level. I bet the parents of Miley fans have 7th Heaven re-runs blocked by parental controls, so Miley's SATC would have to be like church-going, straight teens making googly eyes at each other (no touching!) from afar (the cheerleader working at Hot Dog on a Stick has a nice view of the totally respectful boy from her youth group working the fudge out of See's Candy!) and like, buying American and joining The Young Republicans? That's dumb, Miley! How dare you make an off-handed comment about a random idea you had in the presence of a journalist! You should be ashamed! Alright, rant over.
