Now, I'm no doctor, but losing 80 pounds in three months kind of sounds like a lot. Not only does it sound unhealthy and just way too hard, it also sounds like the kind of weight loss that would give you that gross skin hang-y look you see on Oprah's gastric bypass follow-up episodes, which doesn't really make for model material. Good thing they're only casting upbeat girls for this, or they might end up with emotional problems by the end of it: "We are looking for girls with a great attitude, a pretty face and the endurance to sweat off the pounds during a 3 month boot camp style show." Oh, OK then!

Casting is still underway, and while the series has not yet been greenlit, it obviously will be. This thing sounds like ratings gold, so get your counter measures ready when every size-eight girl you know decides she can become a supermodel too -- all she needs is a great attitude and a pretty face (and a healthy mix of bulimia and a serious coke habit)! Yay for equal opportunity!
