The Miracle at St. Ana Lucia
I suppose I should say "spoiler alert," but if you're reading the Telefile for TV news, you're begging for a good spoiling. (You naughty minx!) Even TV Guide isn't spoiler-free anymore, so you're going to have to bury yourself in a bomb shelter in order to avoid this tidbit of news. Ready? Last chance! Ana Lucia is coming back to Lost. ...You hear that? That's the sound of numerous Lost fans groaning in dismay. For a second there, I thought I was on the Dharma submarine, and we were about to implode.
Don't worry, you Anti-Lucias out there -- according to EW.com, she's only back for one episode, although in what capacity remains to be seen. She could be a hallucination/ghost, like Hurley seeing Charlie or Michael seeing Libby last season, or it may just be another flashback. EW's resident Lost expert suggests that maybe the ex-cop busted Miles, the L.A.-based "ghost hunter," at some point -- if so, that's gotta be a decidedly un-fond memory to re-live. Or maybe she's a zombie! (What, didn't anyone see Resident Evil?)
I don't know why so many people react negatively to Michelle Rodriguez's gruff, bad-cop character. Sure, she was kind of mean. Sure, she totally hooked up with your imaginary boyfriend Sawyer when she knew how much you liked him. Oh, and she killed a few people, but they totally deserved it (especially Shannon). But didn't anybody want to see her redeem herself? She was starting to show feelings for Jack, and she could totally have taken his mind off of Kate, who totally isn't good enough for him. Then she could have told Kate how she hooked up with Sawyer, and perhaps we would have been lucky enough to get a bare-knuckle Girlfight. If she's a zombie, it could still happen! Fingers crossed, people!

I’m so done with stereotypical “tough as nails/but actually sensitive/bad/but with a heart of gold” Hispanic chick #67. Can we please move on to the next version? Maybe #68 will be a better actress. (not that it matters)
