While I definitely think it's a plus that these new characters seem to be villains, or at the very least, highly capable commando-type people (if we had to deal with just another nicey nice character they expect us to grow to love, I'd start throwing things), this show already has way too many characters. That's always been one of Lost's biggest problems, and I just feel like we need fewer people to keep track of, not more. But, then again, I said that about Ben, Desmond and Juliet back in the day, and now I love them more than life itself (not exaggerating). This might turn out to be great, as long as they don't take any of the EW blog commenters' suggestions and cast any of the following people in either role: Michael Vartan, Alexis Bledel, Mia Maestro, or Amy Acker. Seriously, EW readers are smoking the bad stuff.
