More rich assholes for me to make fun of, you guys! According to reports, we'll soon be seeing a new addition to the ever-growing sub-genre of "reality" shows documenting the lives of the young, rich, "attractive" and obnoxious. Join me in welcoming to the bloated fold Social Heights, a new program that folks are likening to The Hills, only in New York. That means there will be the requisite bevy of blank-eyed wannabe social climbers, at least one guy with a stupid name à la Justin Bobby (seriously, there's a dude who calls himself Teddy John!) and a profusion of non-action that is nonetheless chronicled in minute detail by all the major tabloids and New York gossip rags. But, this being New York, I'm hoping there will be a little bit of that brash, tough-talking New York backlash to this gaggle of retards, whether it's the development of "let's-heckle-the-D-list-celebs-when-we-see-them-on-line-at-The-Box"-type games or merely an unspoken, citywide agreement betwixt city-dwellers to give the stars shit in subtle ways whenever they happen to cross our paths.
