Doctor Who Gets Royally Dissed

I'm sure that Prince Charles is a busy guy. Doing something. Not entirely sure exactly what since I've never really understood the whole modern royal thing. Like they don't rule the country, they are just basically figureheads, right? But he's got too much on his plate to stop by Doctor Who for a cameo appearance. What could be a better way to spread national identity and pride (someone spent too much time on royal.gov) than appearing on an episode of a fantastically fun and wild time traveling sci-fi series? Appeal to the geeks of the world. Show them you've got a sense of humor. He's probably afraid they would make him play an alien or something (leaders on that show don't tend to fare too well). Is there an alien species that has good hearing? That could explain those ears. But the Prince declined. Who EP Russell T. Davies responded by jokingly (I think) calling him "a miserable swine."

It might have been cool, but we're sure there are some other royal(ish) people who might be suitable for whatever they've got cooking over there. Here're my suggestions:
-- Prince Harry. He's Charles' cute younger son, seems to have a bit of spunk, would probably be game to poke fun at the royal family.
-- Prince. He's musically talented. Would bring his own costumes. He'd be fine with an unpronounceable alien species name.
-- Anne Hathaway. She's pretty. She knows how to play a princess.
-- Sarah Ferguson. She's a duchess. She's got acting experience (or she can make commercials).
-- Fergie. If they can't get the true duchess, the fake one would do. Plus, it would be awesome to kill her off.
-- Oprah. She's the Queen of all Media, and she's already guest starring on 30 Rock.
-- Queen Latifah. Because she's awesome, and can act.
-- T.I. He's the king of the South. He'll do whatever they like.
-- Aretha Franklin - The Queen of Soul. Think of how much fun the wardrobe department could have with her.
-- Will Smith. He's the Fresh Prince. And he has really big ears.

That's a real shame about Charles declining, I think it would have been funny. He was probably afraid of his many (rather unfair)detractors mocking him mercilessly for it. He'll have to stick to the constant charity and goodwill missions he is duty bound to undertake.
Either Fergie sounds like a good idea to me. I just hope they don't try to top the last series finale, that ep was insane. Going the 30 rock route isn't a bad idea.
