If you've been watching this Amazing Race season, you've likely noticed that one competitor, Terence, of the Terence and Sarah (and not Terrance and Phillip, as I'm dying to call them) team is a ticking time bomb of rage and what I can only describe as seething homicidal tendencies. Why do I think these awful things? He doesn't want his girlfriend Sarah to talk to other people who are not him at all (and this is not negotiable), he's prone to screaming fits with little to no provocation, and sometimes he gets imaginary cuts that he forces her to blow on if she's not paying him what he deems as enough attention, like he's a five-year-old. Which he is, in so, so many ways. But, like, a five-year-old who maybe keeps some severed heads in his freezer. Sarah, as Oda Mae Brown from Ghost would say, "You in danger, girl."
CBS has been oddly coy about posting videos of his insanity on their website -- despite having absolutely no problem showing it on national television -- and last night's episode was a little Terence-light, but I did find the following clips (that the CBS bastards won't let the good people of the Internet imbed): The first one is Sarah rationalizing Terence's ban on Sarah speaking to other people, spoken like a true battered woman, and the second is Terence channeling Julia Roberts' husband from Sleeping With the Enemy. Anyone else out there a Terence hater?

Yes, I have noticed that he definitely has some psycho tendencies...but I think she is the type who would lure the victims in and tie them up and watch and enjoy!
And a side note: Terence...you can't hide your receding hairline by making a point on the top of your head...it just doesn't work that well.
I also noticed that Sarah was the only woman of a mixed sex couple to wrestle last night. All the other teams thought it would require the physically stronger member of their team. We've already heard Sarah speaking Spanish & Portuguese, so she's covering the language component as well. What are Terence's assets he brings to this team?
I totally agree with you, Mindy -- I thought he was psycho from the first time I saw him, which was when he was throwing a fit about her being a normal person and talking to the other teams. And I was thinking that she seemed awfully normal to be with someone like him, who is so obviously NOT normal...but there must be something up with her too, to be able to be (or act like she is) ok with his crap. I mean, come on, how many people know someone who won't let their significant other TALK TO OTHER PEOPLE? Right??
Or how about when the marathon trainer got mad at Sarah for running too fast.... in a race?
