Now listen, we all know that SNL has had a long history of political parody, and that sometimes the real deals even show up to mock themselves, as Hillary Clinton did earlier in the season. That I don't take issue with. But this bid by Palin just seems like a desperate, grasping attempt to be in on the joke, and it's too little, too late. After all, it's a little hard to buy that Palin is such a good sport about all this, being that she admitted she watched Fey's first installment with the sound off. Umm, how are you going to hear the funny things that Tina is saying with the sound off? Trust us, Miss Alaska, you make us giggle plenty as it is.
