I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you a funny story about young Michael Pitt. I interviewed him one time for an article that never ended up running, because the jerk made me cry and was generally the creepiest and most unpleasant "celebrity" I ever had the displeasure of dealing with. He's one of those really self-important "Bohemians" who gets pissy when you ask them a simple, straightforward and totally innocuous question. I went to his apartment in Brooklyn to interview him. When I arrived, I found that his front door was unlocked and opened. He invited me in to what looked like a college kid's idea of an opium den, and proceeded to do everything in his power to make me feel uncomfortable when I asked him about some of his upcoming projects. When I was so bold as to inquire about something that had been reported elsewhere, he looked at me with glazed-over eyes, reached over and turned off my tape recorder, and told me to leave. I could understand these sorts of shenanigoats if you were like Marlon effing Brando, but despite somehow getting cast in a few high profile roles (if you're into that artsy B.S.) for reasons I can't explain, he has done zero in the impressive acting chops department. Unless you count looking vaguely stoned and pouty an essential theatrical skill.

My point is, this dude is not simply a talentless prettyboy, he's also a total asshole. So keep that in mind when you're deciding whether to tune into this beeswax. Rant over.
