This is me trying to be courteous to those who have yet to see last night's Amazing Race installment, in which two teams that deserve to be in next week's finale and one team that is literally the definition of borderline special needs were sent to said finale, while the most adorable, odds-defying, most vertically-coifed team of them all was sent packing. Ugh. This is the worst.
I am of course talking about Toni and Dallas, or as Angel and I affectionately refer to them, "Team Motherboy," who were eliminated last night because Dallas, as wonderful and endearing as he is, is an idiot. Oh, Team Motherboy, whyyyyyyy?! When a clue asks who is good at solving mysteries, why would you choose the sweet but simple boy who doesn't even know where New Zealand is on a map to tackle it all by himself? Dallas is good at lugging flour sacks, not using his brain! Mysteries are hard for brains to solve! And yes, maybe identifying statues of Lenin and Stalin in plain view isn't exactly "solving a mystery" to most people, but Dallas has absolutely no idea what either of those people looked like, and he maybe doesn't even know who they were, so I think it's safe to say the task was pretty "mysterious" as far as he was concerned. This was clearly not for him to do, Toni! WTF?! Where were you on this?
Speaking of Toni, I absolutely love how much discussion there has been on the show about how she just paid through the roof for Dallas's "education," when he clearly doesn't know anything about anything. Did Toni even research these "schools" before she forked over the tuition? I went to some pretty decrepit California public schools, and even I know things like where New Zealand is and what Joseph Stalin looked like.
So eventually Tina gave the floundering Dallas the answer for some self-destructive reason, and he got through the first half of the task! Yayyyyyy! And then... he proved to be even more self-destructive than Tina by leaving their passports and money in a cab on accident, bless his heart. And oh god, my heartstrings when Phil had to go find them and evict them from The Race halfway through the leg. They nearly snapped in two. At least Team Motherboy left with Dallas's guido hair as high as their spirits have ever been, even though it made me want to cry.
So here we are, down to the final three teams: Ken and Tina, Nick and Starr (for the very obvious win, but I'm totally still watching it) and Dandrew, who are so unbelievably inept that if they were farm animals they'd have just been shot a long time ago. Who are you rooting for? If you say Dandrew I'm seriously going to find you and kill you.

Dandrew. Nah, just kidding. I just want you to come find me so that we could hang out. I'm so lonely.
I'm not routing for anyone since my favorite team is gone as of last night. However I am routing AGAINST Dandrew. The only Amazing thing about this season's race is how these two managed to survive not only the race but puberty! And they're in college? In a frat no less? They're like 'Rainman's' bastard children. Not since Flo and Zack have I been so disappointed with a win and that will definitely be the case if this pair come out on top.
Who am I rooting for? Any team not named Dandrew. Nick and Starr have been consistently good in the challenges and the travel, but Ken and Tina haven't done too bad in that respect, either.
If Dandrew actually puts together two good legs at the end, after bumbling through the first nine legs, I'll never recover from the shock.
Let's be fair. Zack totally deserved to win. I defy anyone else to drag the Flobatross around the world and still be sane.
I thought no season could be as bad as the "family edition", but I have to say I think this one sucks more. A season in which two teams win all, but one leg is seriously lame. If Dan/Andrew win I will be inconsolable. It would be worse than the Weavers!
How can I root for anybody when my little heart is broken? Toni and Dallas were the cutest thing ever - so sweet! Toni raised a gentleman, if not a scholar, and their relationship was so nice to watch - decent people who respect each other and treat each other like they actually love one another? Who'da thought that would make good tv, right? Pay attention, casting agents!
Sigh. This is the only game show that makes me cry.

Dandrew because I like Andrew (Dan, not so much). I like Nick and Starr, too - just please, no Ken & Tina win. Anyway, it's worth noting that Dandrew came in 2nd - it's not their fault that Toni & Dallas were Philiminated.

Dandrew! I love them! Everyday people, dorky, dumb, bumbling team in the final three. Could be you or I! (well, me for sure).
Since Dallas & Toni are gone (and everyone's blaming Dallas, but all I have to say is, "Toni, why didn't you keep the money & passports! You're the Mom!")I have to go with...Dandrew! Because watching Dan try to "march" was the funniest thing I have ever seen on this show! And I want something in writing that states Dan is not a special needs person, because, seriously, did you see him "march"?! Plus Tina is an unforgiving shrew, Ken's as drab as dishwater (& deserves Tina), Nick's a...well I'll leave that to your imagination, & Starr just bugs me to tears. She's just a much less interesting Flo in my book. GO DANDREW!
Dandrew ftw definitely. I didn't like them at the beginning but they're growing on me. They've managed to avoid elimination every week even when they kind of suck so they got to have luck on their side at least. Dislike Nick and Starr intensely, they are so annoying. Ken and Tina I think I really wouldn't mind if they win. They're pretty cool too:)
I was never a fan of Nick and Starr, but looking at Starr in the publicity photo would turn me against them even if I hadn't watched one episode of this season.
The Philimination of Toni and Dallas means that I have to root for Dandrew as the only team I even kind of like.
Me thinks the instructions at the task says the person performing it shall keep everything on them. Don't know if this was done intentionally to throw someone off or what. Toni chose to bow out of the task because she already tired and winded from the sprint over to it. Mama was looking a little green. Anyways, after that I knew TeenWolf going to have trouble. No mystery there.
I like the underdogs. Go Dandrew! It's just a game show, after all.
the producers dont want dandrew in the final three by not having a 12 hour pit stop that could bunch all teams at the submarine, cause its definitely open late thats why the 3 leading team enter the place together, and that put them behind, they also put a dancing speed bump knowing dan is no use of it,

I'm rooting for Dan and Andrew as well. There's something about their bumbling through the race that's quite hilarious and endearing. Besides, Nick and Starr are completely boring and Ken and Tina need to break up already.
I'm heartbroken over T&D but I actually don't mind now if Dandrew wins. It's AMAZING how they just. won't. die. And this IS the Amazing Race =Þ
