Pushing Daisies Won't Be on Tonight. Or Ever Again, Probably I don't really know what to say about this other than it's awful and sad, and that since Angel is too heartbroken to write about it I thought I'd let you know about ABC's newest shitting on their own fans travesty. You see, episode 11 of Pushing Daisies Season 2 was supposed to air tonight, but Bryan Fuller has told Ausiello that it's been pulled from the schedule at the last minute (and replaced with last night's Scrubs reruns, no less), and that the remaining three episodes may never air at all. "They are not scheduled to air right now," he sighs, "and that's all we know." I mean wow. After the public outcry over the series' cancellation, why would they do this on top of that? So horrible. Almost as horrible as Private Practice. Which is still on every week. Yay.

So that's it, kids. Don't look for a new Pushing Daisies tonight, or ever, probably. So terrible. Like, what did Pushing Daisies do to ABC to justify this? Sleep with its wife or something? I can't deal with this. I'm going to go purchase a whimsical pie for Angel now and we're gonna eat through our pain. Leave some woe and/or pie ideas in the comments, li'l gumshoes.

NNNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!
(gets up off the floor)

It's ok. It's ok. I guess I can wait to see those episodes when Pushing Daisies comes out on DVD. Right?

RIGHT!?!?!?!

NO! WHY?
ABC even had a damn countdown on their website for tonight.

Actually Pusghing Daisies should sleep with ABC's wife then maybe ABC would give it the same high regard as it does with the sex obsessed Private Practice or Grey's Anatomy.

My heart...my broken heart. I can pray for a movie, comic book, and DVDs. Until then, I will mourn my favorite show.

You know, I was kind of regretting not watching Scrubs (I'm boycotting ABC, but that's really the only show I'd care to watch), but now I don't. If I have to wait for the DVD to see the end of Daisies, I'll wait for the DVD to see the end of Scrubs.

That's it, I am done with ABC. I only watched two shows on their crummy network, Pushing Daisies and Grey's Anatomy. One has gone to hell in a hand basket, they other ABC just sh*t all over. Never again-not even for Cupid or Nathan Fillion's new show Castle!!!

I am so blocking ABC off my tv. If they can't even show us the tiny bit of respect and give us a chance to say goodbye to a beloved show then they can just deal without my viewership for the rest of their mediocre programming. BOO.

This is really sad - and rather misguided of ABC. They suck.

I think Pushing Daisies should sleep with ABC's wife and give her a venereal disease!

I was taking small comfort in knowing they're were three left. Reruns of Scrubs are better than new programming? When will the DVDs be out?

To the above people planning on boycotting ABC: don't you watch "Ugly Betty"?

Why not just continue to watch ABC shows on their website...from what I hear those viewings don't count for ratings anyway.

Take this for what it's worth; I make no claims to it's accuracy. From http://www.usatoday.com/life/television/news/2008-12-23-nielsens-analysis_N.htm :

Closeouts. Finishing their unsuccessful runs last week: NBC's My Own Worst Enemy (3.9 million viewers Monday), and ABC's Wednesday duo Pushing Daisies (4.7 million) and Dirty Sexy Money (series-low 5.1 million). Both ABC shows will air a few remaining episodes next summer. [Emphasis mine.]

I know. I don't have much hope either.

Kind of hate ABC. This show was the only reason I watched the network...

What the hell? Not only did they cancel this beautiful show, but now they can't even muster up enough respect for both the show and it's fans, to air what little episodes remain? I didn't realize it was possible to be so depressed and infuriated at the same time...

Thanks, ABC, for giving me some of the best TV to come along in decades only to snatch it from me while laughing maniacally. When you die, may Ned bring you back to life only so he can kill you again 60 seconds later.

Please release the season 2 DVD before summer. I have the perfect place for it on my shelf: Right next to season 1.

Now I have no reason to watch ABC at all during primetime.

I only started watching this show about a week ago. I'm not sure it even aired in the UK properly, and it certainly wasn't promoted.

It's smart, funny, quick and I fell deeply and madly in love with it. I'm on the finale of Season One now, and I'm so bummed that it hasn't been given the run it deserves. :(

THE HELL!!! I know season 2 took some time getting off the ground, (though Olive's stay in the convent was friggin' gold!) the storylines really picked up and "The Norwegians" was probably their best ep to date! I know we won't get a full resolution, but I know Bryan Fuller was doing his best to give the fans some closure. This is crap.

Fuck ABC. They got Scrubs, so maybe Fuller should shop Daisies around. Even if it were to end up as a lead-in to The Ghost Whisperer, wouldn't CBS treat the fans with some respect?

Fucking ABC . . . I'm still bitter that they gave The Mole next-to-nil promotion, and hyped up their wannabe Japanese game shows.

I loved Pushing Daisies; it was funny, smart, and glorious to watch. I am so sad ABC didn't give it a chance to catch on. I also can't belive ABC will not even air the last of the new episodes. I guess if a show isn't a rip-off of something else or insults the viewer's intelligence, it doesn't last. Such a shame; it really was a wonderful show and I looked forward to seeing it every week. Shame on you, ABC!

Oh Hell No! Shame on you ABC!I will hate you forever and ever. I also hate you because now I don't ever want to watch you again, which poses a problem since Lost is my other favorite show(next to Daises).

Maby the wonderful Bryan Fuller can sell the series to one like USA or HBO. Maby they would treat the series better.

P.S. I plan to send ABC homeopathic drugged pies. Anyone care to join me?

I don't know, Elizabeth. The homeopathic pies actually seemed to improve the aunts' moods. You don't want to make those network bastards even happier than they are now, do you? How about arsenic or anthrax instead? Luckily for us, Ned couldn't bring them back (as he is fictional) nor would he want to.

Thanks for your comments ernvyoee. Can't say I disagree too much with any of you except I think Stephanie is too hard on "OMWF" particularly since "Rest in Peace" is probably my least favourite song. 'Walk Through the Fire" is one of the greatest ensemble songs with the best tailored line ever: "I think this line is mostly filler".
