Knope tries to improve her town via the Park and Rec., and teams up with fellow bureaucrat Tom Haverford (Aziz Ansari. Who, I'd like to repeat, is named Tom Haverford in this.), and a local nurse (for some reason) played by Rashida Jones to turn a construction pit into a park, which is hotly contested by some people, somehow. It's basically the city council parts of Waiting for Guffman: The Show, but with park rangers. Which is actually a pretty good idea. I grew up in a family of local bureaucrats, and small town politics are so retarded, I can't even tell you.

Thoughts on the premise? And why everything is so damn hush-hush about this thing? It's not state secrets here, people. And why can they come up with a premise, a completed pilot script and a cast, but not a title?
