We Call B.S. On 24

We Call B.S. On 24 Sure, TV requires a goodly amount of suspension of disbelief. (Who here remembers ALF?) But the 24 writers are reeeeeaaaaaally pushing it, as per usual. Even for them. Marwan steals a stealth fighter and shoots down Air Force One, and the president survives? I mean really? Our very own Mindy Monez calls the show out on ten of its most ridiculous plots from past seasons in her 24: Most Ludicrous Moments gallery. Read 'em, add your faves and snort with disbelief along with us.

On raping Teri instead of Kim: Ok, Leslie Hope was 37 in Season 1, so i guess that's arguably "middle aged." She's not my taste, but not chopped liver, either. If I remember correctly, she pursuaded the rapist that he'd be better off with her than with a girl who'd be biting, scratching, crying, and throwing up the whole time. A bit far fetched, maybe, but not one of the Top 10 most ludicrious moments. Probably not one of the top 50.

Last night... How long can you stay alive bleeding from your neck, under a plastic tarp, with dirt piled on top? Hmmm.

As a midwesterner, I can't believe you forgot when they lost the missile due to interference amid the "mountains of Iowa." I haven't had as good a chuckle since. Mountains of what? Corn?!
