Some Career Advice for Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight We all knew it was coming, but now good sources are saying it might really be true: Izzie and George -- aka Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight are leaving Seattle Grace Grey's Anatomy. After all the smack-talking and gay bashing behind the scenes, and what with the recent "Izzie's seeing dead people" plot line, it was only a matter of time before Heigl got ousted, and it figures that she's taking her BFF with her because, duh, Hollywood is middle school with a slightly better wardrobe and less acne.

It's not a moment too soon for the Greys-watchers who've been calling for Heigl's head, both for her backstage shenanigans and her exceptionally grating character, who never met a scene she didn't suck the lifeblood out of. Clearly this dynamic duo is a joy to work with and will have all manner of producer nipping at their heels, but just cause I'm a magnanimous sort, I've done everyone a favor and come up with some potential gigs that will play to the actors' strengths, taking stock of their resumes and their off-screen relationship. And since the economy is in a sorry state, I'm making it 2-for-1! They come as a pair! It's a steal, really.

1) A television variety show (those things are getting so popular these days right?) that will consist purely of Katherine & T.R. singing karaoke and dressing up in the outfits she's nicked from various movie sets (get ready for a 27 Dresses montage to beat the band!).

2) I've made peace with the fact that Absolutely Fabulous is coming back, so why not grab these two for the leads? Katherine would be perfect for Edina, who is a narcissistic, insufferable booze bag with a skewed sense of fashion. And like Patsy, T.R. is into dudes.

3) A late night talk show hosted by Katherine, where the only guests are small dogs. T.R. would play the dapper Ed McMahon sidekick.

4) A faux-unscripted show about two obnoxious-ass actors who hang out and decide they're better than everyone while wearing track pants and chain-smoking Parliament Lights.

5) A Grey's spin-off that takes place in the Ninth Circle of Hell (working title: Izzie's Inferno.)

6) A remake of the awesome Madonna film The Next Best Thing.

7) A screen adaptation of the story of the pregnant man Thomas Beattie.

8) A high-brow period piece in which T.R. plays an Oscar Wildean English dandy and Heigl is his prune-faced benefactor.

9) An animated version of My Father the Hero.

10) A romantic comedy about a neophyte surgeon who falls in love with a patient who dies, then has an affair with her married best friend, then loses her mind and then lives happily ever after married to a Bundt cake. (Bundt cake casting to be determined.)
