I hate to start off on a rant, but I just can't wait until after the jump. Seriously, why is 90210 2.0 going to get rid of Dustin Milligan, who plays Ethan? He's one of the few characters on that show I can even tolerate. The pentapus? Kinda cute. The fact that they think he's run his course is stupid. Really? Just hook him up with a new girl. I always thought he was supposed to be the Dylan in this scenario. Which means he's got a couple more seasons of life in him yet. Instead, the powers that be are trying to find ways to make watching this show an even more painful experience than it already is (it is my job to watch it... I would have stopped long ago if I could have). Since this apparently means more screen time for the dude playing Liam, and not a promotion for the awesomely underrated Navid, I'm not happy. Okay, now on to the rest of your regularly scheduled, and less rant-filled, news.
It's official. True Blood will be back on June 14th. Mark your calendars for all the blood-sucking goodness.
Also official? Two more seasons of Friday Night Lights. Boo-yah! Two! We'll have to deal with that crazy DirecTV schedule some more, with the satellite channel getting the originals in the fall and NBC getting them in the spring, but this season has been so freakin' amazing that I'll gladly wait, and avoid spoilers, to get some more.
Somehow people are still watching The Real World. Enough that it got renewed for four more seasons. Where do they have left to go? Real World: Spokane? Real World: Duluth? Real World: Salt Lake City? Actually, I'd watch that last one.
Lucy Lawless is back in the action business. She's going to star in Spartacus, which is from the people that brought you Lawless' ass-kicking adventure Xena: Warrior Princess. Lawless will be running some sort of gladiator camp. I wonder if she'll find a way to use her awesome scream? That'd be cool.
In nice Angel-related news, Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof had a baby girl today. They named her Satyana. It's also Alyson's birthday, which means Satyana is going to have to share cake and parties with her mom. It's like having a birthday on Christmas.
In sad Angel-related news, Andy Hallett has passed away at the age of 33, from a heart condition. He played the green lounge-singing demon (and my personal favorite character) Lorne on the show. Sniff. We'll miss you, Lorne.

The Hannigan/Denisof baby wasn't born today, she was born a week ago.
Seriously, HE's the actor they're going to get rid of? So stupid.
That is really sad about Andy Hallett. :( He was hysterical and awesome on Angel. One of my fav characters as well. Great comedic actor. Also gave the show heart.
(Also...kinda creepy/bizarre and almost of the supernatural variety that he died as Alyson's child came into the world. If this were in the Angelverse, there'd be some wacked out correlation.)
