Today's TWoP News: April 15, 2009 As far as the happy to horrifying ratio goes with today's news roundup, we're like two to fourish, so don't read this if you're already depressed. I'm sorry.

NBC is resurrecting former ABC property I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! after a six-year absence in the States (I really hope that isn't because it took six whole years for ABC to give up that terrible show, but you never know). Anyway, a new cast member has been announced, and it's disgraced Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich, and yes, his hair. He has to get permission from a federal judge first, though, because he's a criminal and the show films in Costa Rica, and you're not supposed to just up and film a crappy reality show in Costa Rica when you're being tried for corruption.

Speaking of dirtbags who might be coming to reality TV, Michael Vick is shopping a show about his release from prison. Perfect.

Clutch the pearls! Jack Bauer is coming to my town! 24 Season 8 will begin filming next month in NYC, with a newly put-together CTU and a new CTU boss ('cause RIP Bill.) Can you imagine helping Jack Bauer move? "The couch doesn't fit through your door frame, Jack." "Dammit!" And you'd probably get kidnapped for associating with him before the obligatory pizza came. That he made Chloe order. And she'd get testy with them and the toppings would be all peed on, so it's not like you'd even want it anyway. Also because you got tortured to death. Don't help Jack Bauer move to NYC, guys.

We've known it in our hearts since before it even started, but everyone is reporting early that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been quietly canceled. The official announcement won't come from Fox until May 18, but Ausiello seems pretty confident in his sources, so I believe it. Sad. Cromartie, I think I'll miss you most of all.

Also, Joss Whedon is pretty sure Dollhouse is toast too.

It's official: Law & Order: SVU has been renewed, but Meloni and Hargitay are still in annoying salary/royalty negotiations with the network, so it's still up in the air whether or not they will be replaced. Either way -- that's one 9 PM slot that's filled for sure. Shuffle the NBC schedule in your heads, worried Chuck fans. As all these 10 PM shows get renewed and shoved down to 9 PM, and all the 9 PM shows get shoved down to 8 PM because of that... well, you see where this is going. NBC space just got even more limited.

On a much happier note, Mo'Nique is getting her own late night talk show on BET!!! It's about effing time too! Oh man, how I love Mo'Nique. She is the truth.
