Guys, I don't know how it happened, but none of these TV news items put me in a bad mood at all. This is unprecedented! Which just has to mean television is going to be outlawed tomorrow or something equally horrific, but for now, let's live in the now and bask in the happy!
Lauren Conrad's leaving The Hills, but they're not canceling it, and I honestly have no opinion whatsoever about it either way.
OMFG! 23 set photos from the Gossip Girl prequel have been released! I have a love/hate relationship with the GG-verse (as I'm sure most fans do), but I have to say, these photos? All love! Some of them look pretty over-the-top Wedding Singer "weren't the 80s ridiiiiiiculous?", but I don't care -- Brittany Snow in riding boots and pink argyle is beyond fabulous. I'm kind of excited for it now!
The True Blood Season 1 Blu-ray DVDs (out May 19) will have an enhanced viewing option where you can watch Lafayette interject into scenes to tell the real dirt on everybody, in character. That sounds like so much fun it might just be worth the extra Blu-ray dough.
Hey, look at the new Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien logo! It's gray, so it's strikingly different from his Late Night logo, but I still kind of think it's pretty.
Wow, all good news today -- the most glaring omission from my DVD collection, thirtysomething, is finally coming to DVD on August 25! Yes! Hunky Ken Olin and digital whiny yuppies of my dreams! The cast also did DVD commentary, and I have to tell you, even if you don't like thirtysomething, Ken Olin DVD commentary is an experience in and of itself. His impression of Jennifer Garner's mother on the Alias DVDs was my favorite hangover cure in college.
Haha, Adam West is awesome. Why do I have nothing negative to say today? This is weird.
The lovely Christina Applegate is on the cover of People's annual "Most Beautiful People" issue this year, "beating" obvious choices like Angelina and Halle Berry (they also made the list, though, duh). There's something kind of refreshing and nice about that, isn't there? Who doesn't love Christina Applegate? (Seriously, what is wrong with me today?)
