Today's TWoP News: May 1, 2009

Happy May Day everybody. Do people still do that pretty thing where they dance around a maypole with ribbons? I wouldn't know. I've been inside catching up on TV all day. I'm still stuck on how Private Practice ended its season and giving this whole thing way more attention than it deserves, but really, it has gone off the soapy deep end with all this Violet stuff. Anyway... on to the choice that its crappy parent show is making.

Fact: I love Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Fact: I hate dead Denny. Fact: Dead Denny is coming back to Grey's Anatomy. Fact: I'm not happy about this.

Rob Blagojevich got invited to do a new reality show that doesn't require him to leave the country. The pimp on Cathouse wants him to come hang at the Bunny Ranch. That seems about right.

In news that would have been timely in 2005, America's Got Talent is teaming up with MySpace. Viewers can submit their own videos online and skip all that annoying standing-in-line crap.

Jewel blogged about how Melissa Rycroft should either suck up the pain or bow out of Dancing With the Stars. I think she's more than a little bitter that she got hurt and had to leave the competition. I don't really care at all either way (though I think Melissa is a lovely dancer), but I love a good blog battle. Can't wait for Melissa to strike back!

It wouldn't be a complete day without Idol news... Apparently Kara is only officially signed on for one season, which means that the producers might kick her to the curb after this season. Maybe that's just wishful thinking.

Speaking of wishful thinking, NBC is leaning towards picking up Chuck for a third season. Official announcements will be made at their infront presentation on Monday. Seriously. Longest. Weekend. Ever.

Hope for Chuck!? That's the best news I've heard all week! Though, I'm concerned about all this Kung Fu business...

Its Rod Blagojevich, although of course he does have a brother named Rob.

Ausiello just tweeted that we may not get an answer Monday after all.
That weekend just got even longer.

NOOOOOO. But Denny PROMISED he wouldn't--couldn't---come back! This has actually changed my feelings for Jeffrey Dean Morgan: he is kind of stoop-shouldered and always looks a little sweaty and like he needs a shower.

Maybe this means Izzie's gonna die?

I am DYING from all the suspense about "Chuck." If NBC doesn't announce on Monday, I'll take that as my cue to burn down my living room simply because my clinging threads of sanity will have snapped. gahhhhhh.
