There is a Twitter television competition series in development, in which people will race to stalk celebrities via their location updates or something. It's horrifying, but if we have to make a damn show out of Twitter it's a better premise than people chirping "Just got coffee!" over and over again at you until they think "Terminator f*ckin' sucked!" or spoil Lost for the West Coast.

The Real Housewives franchise monster will soon be sprouting another head, as Bravo announced a D.C. edition of the show today, and I'm like what, in the name of Jill Zarin, do I have to do to get a Dallas or Houston Housewives? Do you know how amazing that would be? Or a Boca version with old ladies on their fourth marriages? This crap keeps me up at night. Oh well, maybe some of the D.C. girls will be married to evil tobacco lobbyists or something. That might be fun.

Ausiello's freaking out over this Melrose spoiler that even I couldn't care less about, but if you're super-psyched about the reboot maybe you'll want to see it. Or maybe not. That show's going to be terrible in a bad way.

This is really movie news, but it's a slow day, so I'm putting it in here. The director and producer of the Buffy movie are considering rebooting the franchise into a slick, Joss-free actioner. Ever the optimist, Zach has a few ideas that might help it not suck too much. Bless his heart.

And lastly the Trailer for Hung thoroughly grossed me out about as much as I expected it to, so I guess I can't really say it didn't deliver.
